What can GPR tell you?
GPR can reveal radar responses associated with embedded features and changes within concrete. Interpretation matters: the system does not automatically label every response as a specific object.
Why scan before coring or cutting?
Existing concrete may contain reinforcement, post-tension systems or building services that are not visible from the surface. Scanning provides another layer of information for project planning.
GPR vs. concrete X-ray
GPR and radiography use different technologies and have different access, safety and project requirements. The appropriate method depends on structure, target and conditions.
